When we contemplating the idea of AI overthrowing humanity, we usually imagine a robot war.

However, a more subtle theory proposes that AI could gradually seize control by offering a virtual realm so irresistible that people become absorbed in it, losing touch with reality.

The video work 螺旋 suggests that this phenomenon is already unfolding.

The smartphone has in many parts of the world become a human condition. We have embarked on a journey from which there is no return.
